NEW YEAR GREETINGS
David and I would like to wish all friends and customers of Domaine Thomson a productive, happy and healthy 2021, wherever you may be.
2020 was certainly a challenge in many ways for everyone in the world. However, New Zealand has fared better than most countries and we have been thrilled to be able to welcome visitors to our new cellar door (aside from a short but awesomely effective lockdown in May/June). Travel to New Zealand remains difficult for us and many others but we shall be back in New Zealand to breathe in some fresh, clean Central Otago air at the first opportunity. We have a lot of gardening and fishing to catch up on and will let you know when we’re next at the vineyard in Lowburn to taste and share our Kiwi and French wines with you.
We also think of our friends and fellow vignerons in France who are dealing with challenging times now, and hope that things will get better there soon.
In the meantime, may 2021 be a rollicking good year, to herald in the Roaring Twenties!
