Named in tribute to explorer John Turnbull Thomson, this elegant Central Otago Rosé is crafted from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes from our Moon Block. Wild fermentation followeds 3 days skin contact. Fermentation 40% old French oak and 60% in stainless steel for 2 months. The result is a fresh, refined, and expressive wine that captures the character of its terroir.
A red wine drinkers Rosé - fruity and fragrant, the wine shows red cherry, gala apple, nectarine, and floral aromas, follwed by a succulent palate thats beautifully weighted and finely structured.
