“Really beautiful aromas of strawberries and peaches with some pear blossoms that follow through to a medium body with creamy and crunchy tannins and a crisp finish”
95 points, James Suckling.
(only 200 bottles remaining)
Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir 2021
“Earthy and very aromatic at first, with dried flowers, red fruit and sliced strawberries. It’s medium-bodied with firm and racy tannins and a fresh, bright finish.”
92 points, James Suckling.
Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir 2022, Central Otago
“The 2022 Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir is magnificent, because it possesses the same fruit profile of the 2021, which I like very much… Here, everything feels very much in harmony and cohesion, and the pomegranate fruit is both spicy and subtle. Everything is in balance, not a hair out of place. This is so lovely.”
Wine Advocate, Robert Parker, 94 points.
Surveyor Thomson Pinot Noir 2017, Central Otago
“Complex, savoury and distinctive with a bouquet filled with scents of Otago and variety, soil and ripe fruit. Cherry, raspberry and plum, dried herb, wild thyme and spices of oak. A core of fruit on the palate is accentuated with acidity, the barrel spices and Otago thyme flavours accentuated by tannins. Youthful, complex and lengthy on the palate with flavours that reflect a time and place, variety and excellent vintage”.
94 points, MS Cameron Douglas
