Central Otago
Surveyor Thomson 2021, Pinot Noir
Dark blackcurrant, wild blackberry, spice, and wild herb aromatics dominate the nose followed by a rich elegantly textured mouthfeel showing roundness, density and tension. The palate gives great coverage, interest and persistence.
"Earthy and very aromatic at first, with dried flowers, red fruit and sliced strawberries. It’s medium- bodied with firm and racy tannins and a fresh, bright finish. James Suckling, 92 points.
"Ripe, medium-bodied wine with attractive berry flavours that include
cassis, blackberry, cherry and vanilla. Appealingly sweet and
accessible fruit flavours with good cellaring potential and
drinkability." Bob Campbell MW, 95 points.
